Keep the area dry Change out of wet or sweaty underwear as soon as possible. Moisture can encourage fungal growth. 2. Choose breathable underwear Opt for loose-fitting cotton underwear and avoid tight clothing that traps heat and moisture. 3. Wash gently Use lukewarm water to clean the external genital area. Avoid scented soaps, vaginal washes, sprays and douching. 4. Avoid putting home remedies inside the vagina 🚫 Do not insert garlic, yogurt, vinegar, baking soda or other substances. These can irritate the vagina and disrupt its natural balance. 5. Don’t use antibiotics unnecessarily Some antibiotics can increase the risk of yeast overgrowth.
