NEW AIRPORT TAXI RULES YOU SHOULD KNOW! 🚕✈️ Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL) has introduced an upgraded airport taxi reservation system at Terminal 3, Accra International Airport. Here are 5 important things every arriving passenger should know. 1️⃣ GO TO THE OFFICIAL TAXI RESERVATION BOOTH After arriving at Terminal 3, proceed to the designated airport taxi reservation booth at the Meet and Greets area if you need an airport taxi. 2️⃣ COLLECT YOUR TAXI CARD Passengers using the service will be issued a taxi card at the reservation booth. Keep this card with you until you reach the authorised taxi pickup point. 3️⃣ PRESENT YOUR CARD BEFORE BOARDING At the designated pickup point, present your taxi card to an authorised airport taxi driver before entering the vehicle. 4️⃣ TAXI DRIVERS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO APPROACH YOU Under the new system, airport taxi drivers are no longer permitted to approach passengers or solicit business within the Meet and Greets area. If someone approaches you offering an airport taxi, direct your enquiries to the official reservation booth. 5️⃣ ALWAYS CHECK BEFORE STARTING YOUR JOURNEY 🚕 Confirm you’re using the authorised airport taxi service. 💰 Ask about the fare before boarding. 📍 Confirm your destination with the driver. 📱 Share your journey details with someone you trust.
