I think it would be a good idea to go over all the types of EDS, and cross off which ones you DONT have- that way you raise awareness for each type, until you eventually reveal which one you have

Maybe you could assign a color to each type of EDS, then get a cake and keep the video in black and white while and after you cut into it. That way, we’d have about 10 seconds to guess which color you got before the video switches to color and reveals the answer! 😂 Or you could make bracelets with beads in the EDS color for your loved ones. That way, they’d have a little gift from you while also helping spread EDS awareness. I think that’s such a cute idea! 😊 You could also assign a color to each type of EDS, start the video in black and white, and then reveal Phia wearing a collar or vest in the corresponding color. 🥰 Of course, only if you have the energy for something like this! ❤️

So, kind of morbid but I did a gender reveal for my thyroid cancer. I had two nodules; one on my right and one on my left. My right, Hashimotos. My left is cancer. 😂

Yes do it! I didn't get any genetic testing done for my H-EDS and having a gender reveal for it would have been so fun 😭

My urologist wants me to get the screening done cause currently I’m diagnosed with hEDS, but in Australia in my state, it’s over 2,000 AUD to get it done and I’m on disability, I can’t afford it, plus I’m scared it’ll come back with another type. It’s taken me years to accept hEDS, but a rarer form would be whole another grief process. Plus my urologist said he wouldn’t do my urostomy if I have CEDS or Cleds, and I need the surgery before sepsis tries to neck me again, I’ve already fought it three times. I would love a gender reveal tho; what colors would mean what?

I know there was a test you could take when I went to my doctor. She says we can always take a couple months and test one at a time but she says most likely I have a connective tissue disorder. I told her I thought I eds can you say the name slowly about the test that you got done so I can go to her and ask about this getting done
