@nignews1: FG Announces 30-Day Petrol Discount: How Will It Work? The Big Questions Nigerians Are Asking The Federal Government has announced a 30-day petrol discount through NNPC, with priority given to public transporters nationwide. But how exactly will this work? In this video, I explain the announcement using practical scenarios involving Peter, a commercial driver, and examine the important questions Nigerians are asking. How much is the discount? Who qualifies? How will NNPC identify drivers who have already purchased discounted petrol? What stops people from buying repeatedly at different stations, discharging fuel and returning for more? What happens when NNPC stations run out of petrol? We also examine bulk buying, possible corruption, transparency, transport fares, accountability and what happens after the 30 days. This is an explanation of the announcement, its unanswered questions and the practical challenges of implementation.
