@centralcoastarchives: Thirteen days. A discovery in Big Sur. And a family still searching for answers. Twenty-year-old Kayeleigh Alyssa Gammill disappeared from Salinas, California, in August 2022. On August 30, her body was found near Highway 1 in Big Sur. Her death was investigated as a homicide. One year later, her family and investigators were still looking for answers about who killed her. Then, on September 22, another Salinas woman, Areli Garcia, disappeared. Her car was found abandoned along Highway 1 in Big Sur. The two cases drew attention because of their proximity in time and location. Investigators said they found no evidence connecting them. Kayeleigh's story deserves to be heard, too. Who knows something that could finally bring her family answers? #KayeleighGammill #SalinasCA #TrueCrime #FYP #831
