4axis with rotary chuck and tail stock. Cheaper machine.

We didn’t have cnc’s when I started. Square it up is how you start. Very possible to make on bridgport.

Quite easily.

Top down, end elevation and rough it down inclucing the diameters, finish the square edges you can. Do sides , either one first then flip to opposite side. Use blocks to clamp on unever surfaces to finish the last face, the face with the thin fins. 4 ops unless there are features on the end face. Or grip in a chuck with a centre in the lhs, machine each face complete , once four main faces done, stick in wires and part off the extra meat

Interesting part. I work with a CNC milling machine. I’d like to see the drawing first; then I can figure out how to make it. :)
