@gautenggov: ICYMI: MEC for Roads and Transport Kedibone Diale-Tlabela joined by Gauteng Premier Panyaza Lesufi together with Chairperson of the Portfolio Committee on Transport and Logistics in the Gauteng Provincial Legislature, Gregory Schneemann officially opened the upgraded Modderfontein Road (K115). This critical infrastructure project completed on time and within budget, serves as a vital transport link between Ekurhuleni and Johannesburg, helping to relieve heavy traffic congestion and prevent highways from becoming parking bays during peak commute hours. During the launch, the leadership highlighted government’s massive ongoing investment in road maintenance and expansion, which includes spending roughly R20 billion to settle e-toll debt and improve provincial highways. They also issued a strong warning against road infrastructure vandalism, appealing to residents to protect public assets while encouraging local communities to share in the economic benefits of these major service delivery projects. #GrowingGautengTogether
