@ukstreetdiaries1: He was never the typical Bollywood hero. He didn’t need to be. Nana Patekar built his place in Indian cinema through characters that felt raw, unpredictable and real. His breakthrough came with Parinda (1989), where his portrayal of Anna earned him the National Film Award for Best Supporting Actor. He followed it with powerful performances in films such as Krantiveer, Agni Sakshi, Khamoshi: The Musical, Ab Tak Chhappan and Apaharan. His dialogue delivery had a force of its own. Even a simple line could feel intense when Nana delivered it. In Khamoshi: The Musical, he showed another side of himself. As Joseph, a deaf and mute father, he relied heavily on expression and emotion, giving one of his most restrained performances. Away from the screen, Nana has also worked closely with farmers affected by drought in Maharashtra. Through the NAAM Foundation, which he co-founded with Makarand Anaspure, he supported farming families and contributed to water conservation efforts. Nana Patekar’s career was never about fitting into an image. He chose complicated characters, took risks with his performances and remained unmistakably himself. His films gave audiences characters they could remember, quote and argue about long after the credits rolled. #fyp #fypシ #fypシ゚viral #foryoupage #BollywoodLegend
