@thetimes: Where does the Green Party go from here? Zack Polanski’s defeat in the Holborn & St Pancras by-election is an untimely blow for the Green Party. His popularity with his members means he may not lose their support. But the real damage is not going to come from the core base — it will come from the “Green-curious” voters who are torn between them and the Labour Party. Daisy Eastlake, a Times political reporter, looks at what Polanski’s defeat means for Andy Burnham, and what's next for the Greens. #politics #greenparty #zackpolanski #election #uknews
New party: 8,000 green votes, Very old party: 12,000 labour votes. So why are we calling it a defeat

Harri Maya :
Many Green voters are burnham curious, so keep your eyes on burnham but if he screws up, greens may just be the step in time…. Or we could just fall into reform and start the apocalypse 😂

Joe :
They have 4 MPs. Don’t get me wrong that’s quadruple what the had previously, but it’s not a big stake at all. The places where they have been voted in relied on MPs tackling local issues not national ones. It’s the same as Reform neither party will come to power in the near future.
