@itsnathanoreilly: Not every break of structure is one I trust. One of the filters I use is whether price swept liquidity before the structural break. In the first example, structure breaks without the liquidity sweep I’m looking for, so I don’t treat that swing as strongly protected. In the second, liquidity is taken first and structure then breaks. That gives me a much cleaner swing to frame the trade around. Liquidity sweep → break of structure → protected swing.
