@sarahschayes: Adopt/Rescue- NODASMED-Last Call 11am 10/10/26 ID Number A1300888 Shadow 10 weeks old unaltered male 9.4lbs Available Now Adopets Link: https://adopt.adopets.com/pet/18ca065a-98d2-41dd-b428-94ac51facc04 Bio Shadow is a male dog who presented bright, alert, and responsive (BAR) with a distal growth plate fracture of the left femur. This is a painful orthopedic injury that requires prompt surgical intervention to properly stabilize the fracture and support appropriate healing. Shadow will need intramedullary (IM) pinning to repair the fracture and help restore proper function of his leg. Without timely surgical treatment, he is at risk for ongoing pain, improper healing, and potential long-term mobility complications. This level of specialized orthopedic surgery and postoperative recovery support exceeds what we can consistently provide in the shelter environment. DX: Xray (RL & VD View Lumbar Spine, Pelvis and both rear legs)=Distal growth plate fracture of the left femur. P: Will need Im Pinning to repair the fracture in the left femur 10/07/26 Very sweet puppy came up to the front of kennel seeking pets .
