How I analyze a stock before I buy it 👇🏾 I don’t buy a stock just because everyone is talking about it. These are the 6 things I check first: 1. The business 💼 Can I clearly explain how the company makes money, who its customers are and why they choose it? 2. Revenue growth 📈 I check the last 3 to 5 years. Is revenue consistently growing? And how does that growth compare with competitors? 3. Profitability 💰 Are profits growing? Are margins improving? A growing company should eventually become better at turning revenue into profit. 4. Free cash flow 💵 Is the business actually generating cash? Rising profits but consistently falling cash flow makes me investigate further. 5. Debt 👀 How much debt vs cash does it have? Can the business comfortably pay its debt from the money it generates? 6. Valuation 🧮 A great company can still be a bad investment if you overpay. I compare its P/E and other relevant valuations with its history, competitors and expected growth. 🚩 My red flags: declining revenue, falling margins, rapidly increasing debt, poor cash flow and constant share dilution. Then my final question: Why should this company be worth MORE in 5 to 10 years? If I can’t answer that, I don’t buy. 🔎 You can find most of these numbers on Stock Analysis or Yahoo Finance. Search the company’s name or ticker and check its financials. Save this and use it as your checklist before buying your next stock. 📌 For educational purposes only. Not financial advice. #investing #explorepage✨ #stockmarket #stockinvesting #investingforbeginners
