In my opinion, the existence of 4-star characters actually helps balance power creep, it’s fine if 5-stars are expensive, since you can use 4 stars as a viable, free-to-play alternative. That’s why I’m glad Genshin still releases 4 stars that remain useful, even capable of clearing endgame content. If they stopped releasing 4 stars, the game would end up like HSR, where teams are incredibly expensive to build and power creep runs rampant. and for me, its not a problem when my fav character be a 4 star
