So accurate, I lost myself to the point I was physically, emotionally and mentally unwell, I had to get him out, I did, and for the past 9 months I’ve gone thru the hardest phase of my entire adult life. The exhaustion that comes after when trying to regulate your nervous system is bone crushing, getting out of fight or flight, assuring yourself your now safe, he’s since got another victim, still trashing my name, but I read a quote that is on my Apple Watch daily. “ The peace I feel without your presence in my life, is worth playing the victim in your story” to anyone going through abuse, please find the strength and leave, 6yrs I gave, but will spend the rest of my life healing 💜❤️‍🩹
