@themalaymail: Crazy Rich Asians is making a comeback, with HBO ordering a new drama series that will bring several of the film’s original stars back to their roles. Michelle Yeoh, Constance Wu and Henry Golding are set to return as Eleanor Young, Rachel Chu and Nick Young, while Ronny Chieng will also reprise his role as Eddie Cheng. The series is expected to move the story forward from where the 2018 film left off, while drawing from Kevin Kwan’s novels rather than simply remaking the movie. A release date has not been announced yet.
