I feel bad but I have prayed for everyone to hold out until 8:01 am before when I was working mortuary. To be fair, usually on nights where I had 10+ calls on my 16 hour overnight shifts.

Literally “nobody died today, thank god” 😬 but also the double edged sword where if they die during business hours I’m the one that has to go pick them up and not the trade guy we use for nights 🙃🤣

when im debating going to bed on nights im on call I look at the tome and go "would I be next on the table if I got a call right now?" and the answer is usually yes and I go to bed
