He watches all of it with the expression of someone who has absolutely no intention of being impressed— unless you drop a piece of pizza or make the mistake of holding your lunch a little too confidently. Because history is nice. Ancient ruins are nice. But he’s still a seagull, and if Rome offers him a free snack, he’s taking it. Rome may belong to history. But that unattended basket of fries?
