Someone reminded me that Carrie’s isn’t technically the shining. I know it came before the shining and that’s why people say it probably is but there’s something else. In the book they call it like a T gene or something? And they say it’s passed from mother to daughter. The shining doesn’t work like that. They may be distant cousins of each other but by that definition they’re not the same thing.
