this is starting to get a bit annoying. we just got a trailer and I've been constantly seeing people spam "Hajime no Ippo is better." Do I think Hajime no Ippo is better then The Boxer? 100%. Will I still watch The Boxer's anime because I like the manhwa? Yes. Also, sorry, but Ippo isn't beating Yu. If we're talking in an actuall fight in the ring, both training and with the coaches (Kamogawa and K) making strategies, Yu beats Ippo easily. Yu has only been touched in the ring once, ONCE, and that was by Boxing Jesus himself and it was a small tap. Other then that, the only time Yu was injured in the ring was by Aaron Tide's punches grazing him and one dislocating his shoulder. Yu has never been knocked down or out, while Ippo has been beaten already. Plus, there's the fact that this fight already happend in a way. Yuto Takeda was heavily inspired on Ippo, the creator themselves sayd that, and Yu destroyed the guy and toyed with him, copying his fighting style and movments just to do them better.
