@moowkamal: لم تكن حرب أكتوبر مجرد معركة ميدانية؛ بل كانت معركة عقول واستخبارات سبقت استخدام السلاح، شملت التخطيط والخداع والاتصالات والهندسة وجمع المعلومات والقدرة على اتخاذ قرارات معقدة في التوقيت الدقيق والمناسب. ولعل هذا ما يعكس العقلية المصرية بامتياز: فالرد لم يكن دائماً بالسلاح الأضخم، بل غالباً بالفكرة الأذكى. لقد وقف حاجز رملي هائل عائقاً أمام عملية العبور، فكان الحل عبقرياً في بساطته: استخدام مضخات مياه عالية الضغط لشق ممرات في "خط بارليف"، مما حوّل فكرة هندسية -ابتكرها اللواء باقي زكي يوسف- إلى ركيزة أساسية في خطة العبور. وثمة قصة لافتة أخرى تتعلق بالاتصالات، حيث استُخدمت اللغة النوبية لنقل الرسائل العسكرية -بناءً على مقترح من أحمد إدريس- مما جعل فهمها أمراً بالغ الصعوبة على العدو. لكن أكتوبر كان أكبر بكثير من مجرد فكرة واحدة؛ فقد تحركت منظومة متكاملة شملت عبور القناة، والجسور، والقوات الجوية، والدفاع الجوي، والقوات المدرعة، والبحرية، ووحدات الإشارة، والمهندسين، والجنود في الميدان، ككتلة واحدة. لقد تحقق النصر بفضل التنسيق والذكاء والشجاعة وتضافر أدوار لا حصر لها سعياً نحو هدف واحد. ولا تزال هناك قصص قد لا تعرفها أجيال عديدة؛ قصص عن أشخاص وأفكار وقرارات بدت بسيطة أو صغيرة، لكنها غيرت مجرى الأحداث تماماً. ولهذا السبب، فإن أكتوبر يمثل أكثر من مجرد ذكرى لانتصار عسكري؛ إنه قصة عزيمة وابتكار وقدرة على شق طريق للمضي قدماً حين يبدو الطريق مستحيلاً. لقد ظل المصريون أحراراً على الدوام... ولا يقتصر حضور أكتوبر على كتب التاريخ، بل يمتد ليشمل البيوت المصرية: في كنف العائلات التي قدمت شهداء، وبين الأجيال التي عاشت مشاعر الخوف والفخر، وفي أسماء وذكريات أولئك الذين دفعوا الثمن لكي تظل بلادهم حرة. سنواصل رواية قصتنا؛ لا لنعيش في الماضي، بل لنتذكر من واجهنا، وكيف انتصرنا عليهم، والثمن الذي دُفع من أجل الحرية. إننا نملك كل الحق في الفخر بتاريخنا، وعلينا مسؤولية ألا ننسى دروسه أبداً 🇪🇬✌🏾💪🏾  The October War was never just a battle on the ground. It was a battle of intelligence before weapons — planning, deception, communications, engineering, information, and the ability to execute complex decisions at exactly the right moment. Perhaps that is what best reflects the Egyptian mindset: the answer was not always the bigger weapon, but often the smarter idea. A massive sand barrier stood in the way of the crossing. The solution was brilliantly simple: high-pressure water pumps were used to open passages through the Bar Lev Line, turning an engineering idea associated with Major General Baki Zaki Youssef into a crucial part of the crossing plan. Another remarkable story came from communications, where the Nubian language was used to transmit military messages following Ahmed Idris’s proposal, making them far more difficult for the enemy to understand. But October was much bigger than any single idea. The canal crossing, bridges, air force, air defense, armor, navy, signal units, engineers, and soldiers on the ground all moved as one system. Victory came through coordination, intelligence, courage, and countless roles working toward one goal. And there are still stories many generations may never know — people, ideas, and decisions that seemed small but changed everything. That is why October is more than the memory of a military victory. It is a story of determination, innovation, and the ability to find a way forward when the road seems impossible. Egyptians have always been free… October lives not only in history books, but in Egyptian homes — in families who lost martyrs, in generations that lived through fear and pride, and in the names and memories of those who paid the price so their country could remain free. We will keep telling our story — not to live in the past, but to remember who we faced, how we overcame them, and the price that was paid for freedom.
