In the 90s if your kid wasn't disabled they weren't allowed in kindergarten if they weren't potty trained. This is crazy.

I was a para for 4k, that was a student who would hold in their bm during bath room breaks, only to poop themselves outside when they were not getting attention or what they wanted. I was forced to clean it everytime, and this student’s parents NEVER brought clothes in for them, and we eventually ran out of spare clothes cause these parents never brought back the borrowed clothes. It was awful!

So many people I know have not potty trained their children talking about “they don’t want to use the bathroom”. It’s insane, potty training is not easy!!! But it’s necessary

I’ve said it before, I work in a hospital and I see a lot of these new parents expecting the nurses to change ALL their newborn diapers and doing ALL the feedings because their mentality is “you’re getting paid so you do it” and they see teachers the same way. It’s only hurting their kids in the long run.
