I prayed to have a baby for 20 years. When I tell people I got my miracle baby when I was 49, everyone congratulates me on getting pregnant at 49. I did NOT get pregnant. I listened to God and opened my mind and anchored myself in faith. We fostered a newborn that everyone said would ultimately go to an extended family member. Her bio mother shockingly chose us in court. Only God could do that. Our miracles often require us to consider scary paths that force us to rely on faith and service to others.
