Our favorite spots 👇🏼 @📍 Visit Bend Oregon AD Save this for your future trip planning!! Bend is a place we keep being drawn back to. We always find new adventures, new views, and even better food! What we love most about Bend is that you really can experience every season in a day, especially during this time of year (spring!). One of the many things we love about Bend is that they’re really focused on sustainability and conservation. As we all visit, it’s so important that we all do our part to commit to Leave No Trace principles and to keep Bend beautiful for everyone to enjoy. So, whether you want to attempt all of these in a day, or maybe over a weekend, here’s what we think you should do: HIKING: Smith Rock has tons of beautiful hiking trails! Try out the river trail to watch climbers and hike along the river, or Misery Ridge if you’re up for a steeper climb to a viewpoint. There is also a lot of other hiking around Bend: • pilot butte • tumalo falls • tumalo mountain • Paulina Peak (Some of these may require snowshoes) CLIMBING: We absolutely LOVE climbing at Smith Rock. The rock is really unique, making for really great climbing for anyone, from beginner to advanced. If you haven’t climbed yet, and want to try, go with a guide! Chockstone Climbing Guides can get you out there safely, and they’ll know the best places to go depending on your comfort levels! SNOWMOBILING: This was my first time getting on a snowmobile, and it was SO fun. Octane Adventures offers guided 2 and 4 hour snowmobile tours around Paulina Lake and up Paulina Peak! SKIING: @Mt. Bachelor is a quick drive from Bend, and has a ton of amazing ski terrain all on a volcano. We got tons of fresh tracks & fresh snow every day. There is also some great uphill terrain nearby! FOOD: When I tell you Bend has some of the best food ever, I’m not exaggerating. Half of the reason we come to visit is because of how great the food is!
