SO MANY people want to just virtue signal online and be self righteous, they don’t actually care about marginalised people. The left has so MUCH infighting it’s actually insane, they’d condemn the socdem/demsoc for not being left enough instead of trying to unify with them for the common goal of giving the working class the power they deserve. This is how the situation in the US began, people on the fence would look left and see the rampant infighting and then the right where there’s unity and they’ll go right, why? Because there’s way less intraparty conflict and toxicity. Purity testing is an actual plague on left wing politics, so many of these people have 0 sense of compromise or nuance. It’s gotten as far as some people on the left NOT voting as a “protest against the system” now is NOT the time to protest. At least try to secure the less evil party first. If you do any of these look inwards, do you ACTUALLY want a better world or do you want to LOOK like you want a better world.
