I have a little plastic cover for mine that I put on the sticker first, then put it on my arm. the plastic cover blocks any of the sticky from getting on the monitor and is easy to remove and use again.

I love the tegaderm knockoffs from Amazon, it has the little paper/felt spot so it doesn't stick. I've used them for years, usually lasts about a week before it starts peeling.

Just me :
I use skintac under my overpatch and if it starts to peel up, I just put a little skintac on my skin under where it’s coming off and also on the patch. It sticks it back on.

You’re placing it in the wrong spot. Take your arm across your chest and reach over your shoulder and try to touch your shoulder blade. Now slide your fingers back up and feel for the muscle that connects your spine to the top of your shoulder (trapezius). Insert the sensor there. That’s the one spot that won’t rub against anything that would cause it to detach. Swap sides with each new sensor. No cover needed.

I have the exact opposite problem. It takes so much effort to get it off. Sometimes I don’t take it off for a couple days because it’s so much work to get all that adhesive off. I just use the cover it comes with.

Skintac only under the CGM, and no over patch!! I sware by this method. By adding an over patch there’s more surface area, which means there’s more to peel up. I’ve had CGM’s last 10 days in 100 degree weather on vacation (in and out of water) with only skin tac!

I don’t use skin covers. This works like magic- I only put a light coating on my skin so the entire sensor sticks, let it dry for 20-30 seconds bc you want it to get a little tacky. Mine stays for 2 weeks without any over patches.

So mine's a freestyle Libra 3 plus and I buy the bamboo ones. It's me with bamboo, because I'm allergic to a lot of things. Anyways off at Amazon, they're the perfect circle. I'm when it does fall off. It's usually day 10, and I still got 4 days to go. It doesn't take the device off because the center has no sticky. You just gotta line it upright. I've been using it for over a year. When no problem

Skin tac works great if applied properly . Covers make them come off sooner for BBB me.

Flex d tape has been the best I've found. It doesn't have sticky where the sensor is so I doesn't pull it off.

i use skin tac on the site and the covers i buy are only sticky on the perimeter so that if i need to replace the cover it doesn't peel off the cgm.

use a CGM shield. I like the silicone ones from Freedom Bands on amazon. then you can replace the sticker without ripping the CGM off.
