Brother I car camp all the time in my 4runner. The first thing I learned to hate after the first night was sleeping on a slope. Trust me, fix it now. Your hips and lower back will thank you

The slope / angle will be an issue. But sleep one night and decide. In future your partner has no spot otherwise enjoy

I had a very very similar setup in my car lol, having your lower body angled while sleeping is not it. I ended up redoing it so it was completely level and added a 4"memory foam mattress that I cut to size.

I would have levelled the bed and added storage under the feet area, with some hinges so you can just lift the board to access it.
