@jenniferrea8: Its so easy to feel rocked and distressed by just the many difficult, chaotic things that happen in life. Let alone the big stuff, the loss, traumatic events. Only God can bring peace in the storm, peace beyond our human understanding. It always helps me to remember- This is not my home, heaven is. Our time here is but a vapor. So if you are in an extremely difficult season, remember: Knowing Jesus brings peace, and the knowledge that your real home is coming soon where there is No strife, no fear, no hurt, no tears--- only peace and joy. If you have not read some Near Death Experience encounters, I encourage you to do so. The book 'Within Heavens Gates' by Rebecca Springer changed my life. (you can listen to it on utube for free). My thoughts about heaven being boring, and one long church service couldn't have been more wrong!
