I don’t like attention bc I already know I’m being perceived inaccurately and put into a box the observers mind has to interpret and translate into a conception that doesn’t hurt their ego or shatter their existing beliefs. I never actually feel seen 🙃

So true. As I get older, I see that people will do anything to get ANY type of attention good or bad as long as they’re getting it and it doesn’t matter who it’s from bc they like it. I realize TRUE attention is the act of being truly understanding, valued, validated, heard, and considered.
