@starlettes.oasis.garden: Thomas Edison is the dahlia that started it all for me! I saw this gigantic plant when walking through a massive garden center and I was so excited to see what the giant bud would bring that I HAD to bring it home with me. Thomas Edison is an heirloom dahlia that was introduced to the public in 1929. His flowers range from 6-8 inches wide and he remains one of the most famous and popular dahlias in existence. His consistent dark purple blooms are a real showstopper!! It is a real gift to be able to not only hold a piece of history in my garden, but to enjoy his beautiful blooms every year! . #starlettesoasisgarden #dahlia #bloom #magical #garden
