Part 3: the moment we meet him! I bare it all, so forewarning if you dont want to see a baby come out! This was the most peaceful birthing experience i could ever imagine. I was so worried that the epidural wasnt going to allow me to push! With my first, i felt everything: the contractions, the pressure, the tearing, the ring of fire, EVERYTHING. The epidural might have been placed on a nerve that didn’t do me muchz but this time around. I was numb! I did adovcate and ask for the lowest dose possible bc i know my body is mucho sensitive to medication so we agreed on a 5ml drip (which is what i had with my first). No shakes, no coldness, walked right after birth, still had some feeling of pressue when it came to pushing but for the most part i was numb! We met our sweet boy at 3:16PM. Mama guessed almost right; i said 3:17PM! Dannnnggg that intuition be spot on. Chord was wrapped around his neck but the OB worked super quick and was so gentle with him and me. I still tore, right along the same tear as my first, 2/3 degree but it didnt hurt at all (thank u adrenaline and epidural). All in all, 10/10 experience.
