Walnut Street Bridge One of the longest pedestrian bridges in the world, the Walnut Street Bridge serves as a lively, car-free linear park spanning the Tennessee River. Stretching approximately 720 meters, its fully pedestrianized deck offers a dedicated space for walking, running, or cycling free from vehicle traffic and provides stunning views of Chattanooga. 3. The Passage A unique and FREE spot in Chattanooga, rich in history and situated right next to the Tennessee River and the aquarium. During the warmer months, it’s the perfect place to stop, take a stroll, and cool off for a while. 4. Tennessee Aquarium If you’re planning a trip to Chattanooga, be sure to include the Tennessee Aquarium in your itinerary! Whether you’re traveling solo, with friends, or with family, this is one of those stops that lets you slow down and appreciate the incredible world beneath the surface. 5. Lookout Mountain Incline Railway We took a ride on the historic funicular along the route known as "America's Most Amazing Mile." The tracks feature an impressive incline, and the panoramic views from the top station are unmatched. I love it! 🤩 6. Ruby Falls Located on Lookout Mountain. You’ll descend 260 feet by elevator and explore the caverns on a guided tour. At the end of the journey, Ruby Falls awaits,the tallest and deepest underground waterfall in the United States. 7. Rock City Beautiful gardens featuring numerous walking trails, fascinating rock formations, suspension bridges, and magnificent views. You can have a drink at the top of the mountain, right next to the huge waterfall.
