They just burn out. Distracting and bribing them doesn't teach them to face it . They just skip it. Guiding them helps them practise it, and in time, it becomes theirs. I’m no magician and this is no magic, to get cooperation with your toddler without yelling or giving in you need to learn what to say and do and practice it.
