@papersarchive: Tack-tile’s brand identity leans into the way opposites can work together to bring us to new places: Paper ephemera is archived and made searchable through technology and digital design, making the impermanent permanent, and these opposites are represented visually with the circle and the square. The circle represents print, with its halftones and dithers, and the square represents digital, with its endless pixels. The circle becomes the “tack,” tack-tile’s little pin, and the square becomes the “tile,” our many many images, scanned lovingly by hand. Eventually you’ll even be able to organize all the tiles you’ve tacked into “mosaics,” aka moodboards!
