@blackskullsreaper: Amaretto Bundt cake Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 12 cup Bundt pan with Baker's Joy baking spray with flour. Mix together the flour, baking powder and salt. Set aside. 1/4 cup sliced almond 1 stick unsalted butter at room temperature 1 cup sugar 3 eggs 1 cup whole milk 1 teaspoon vanilla 2 tablespoons Amaretto liqueur 2 cups flour 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt 3 1/2 teaspoons baking powder In a large bowl cream butter with sugar with a hand held mixer until well combined. Add eggs, milk, vanilla extract and amaretto liqueur and mix well. Add the salt and baking powder to the flour and add it to the bowl. Mix on low speed. Increase speed to medium high and mix for two minutes. Pour batter into the pan and bake for 45 to 50 minutes. Put cake on rack. Poke holes in cake with skewer. Amaretto icing 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar 1/4 cup amaretto liqueur Mix sugar and liqueur in a measuring cup until smooth. Drizzle icing slowly on cake. Let it soak in the cake and continue to pour. Poke holes into the cake to help icing soak in. Turnout onto a plate after 15-20 minutes. Serves 12
