THE BOXER GETS AN ANIME ADAPTATION 😭 ‼️‼️‼️ it's been nearly four years since we had any news about the boxer anime adaptation. everyone in the community thought long gone. that there was no chance it was ever actually gonna get made. until today, when at New York Comic Con, a trailer dropped and proved why it's taken nearly four years to create. if you've never heard of the boxer before it's a webtoon series following a young kid with overwhelming boxing talent who gets picked up by a coach who trained five of the world champions previously, and sets him on the path to becoming the greatest boxer of all time. and good lord are they cooking. I expected good animation for the boxer anime I didn't expect anything near this level. this is absolutely gorgeous. I knew that a boxing anime would have to have good hand to hand combat animation but this is genuinely on a whole other level. now while I do think that the animation looks stunning, I'm also kinda concerned about the pacing for this series. I really hope we're not getting high school situation. now the boxer isn't a very long manhwa it's only 120 chapters and they're very very easy to read chapters, you get through them pretty darn quick. so I think it's entirely possible that they could be planning to fit the entire series into one 24 to 26 episode season. now I know that sounds bad but in all honesty I think that's kind of perfect, anything shorter than that and it would be way too fast paced, anything longer than that and the pacing would be way too slow. either way I'm still super excited that the boxer anime is finally almost here. we don't have an official release date yet but based off this trailer I would expect it sometime in the next year or so. get excited manhwa fans we've been waiting forever for this. #theboxer a#manhwaa#manhwaedit #LIVEwithlowfollowers #PaidPartnership - @manhwaguy001
