Yup, I know! Been crying all day again and I KNOW it’s not my energy!! It keeps hitting me out of nowhere and completely overwhelms me, even though I’ve been detached and I’m genuinely fine otherwise. Especially that moment you described when you started crying. It literally replayed in my head like a movie scene, and I know exactly why. That was around the time he stabbed me in the back while I was literally enabling him 😂 (at work btw). If I were him, I wouldn’t be able to live with myself now either. Looking back, I could tell how uncomfortable and guilty he felt, but he brushed it off anyway. He never thought I’d actually walk away and cut him out of my life for good, without giving him any chance at closure, let alone a way back…
