You never know! I’ve seen cats in poor condition that I would feel the same way about (i.e., their owner must have treated them poorly), but then I saw a story that made me think twice about assuming. A senior cat had gotten outside and the owner had been worried sick. The cat struggled to groom himself, looked scraggly at the best of times, and lost weight easily, so he appeared to be in rough shape after only a short while. The rescuer assumed the cat must have been neglected or abused for years, so they were shocked to find a loving owner had been looking desperately for the cat. Now I try to remember it’s always worth checking — some cats naturally might look a little more scrungly, or might have been hurt after they escaped their owners

I’m so happy that you are getting gifts sent for all your animals you help and take care of. If anyone on TikTok deserves it is you . You’ve been doing this for years. I can only imagine how costly it is. I hope people keep sending cat stuff , birdseed for all the birds you feed and of course peanut !!!!
