@expedition.ola: I think this is the moment I get to say… I TOLD YOU SO🤭 We spent SO much time imagining Birdie’s forever life. What would make her happy, give her freedom & meet her complicated medical needs!! So many sleepless nights comforting Birdie, cleaning up poop and dreaming of a home where she could thrive forever! We have poured our HEARTS into giving this girl the life she deserves, and nobody could ever convince us that we don’t love these dogs with everything we have💗 @The Unstoppable Dogs is Birdie’s perfect home😭🐾 She has always wanted to wrestle with Bodie, but he just doesn’t enjoy playing like that😆 We knew she would thrive with energetic playmates, and now when she wears one sibling out, she can move right on to the next😂 She’s not lost in a sea of dogs, she’s little miss social butterfly and is already flying around the house giving kisses to anyone who will accept them🦋 We found Birdie a mama who doesn’t just understand her medical needs, but gets creative about giving her freedom while keeping her safe❤️‍🩹 Debbie’s experience is already shining through in how naturally she’s helping Birdie find her place in this family and innovating new diaper designs to keep her bum padded but let her wild side out! I genuinely don’t know if I’ve ever seen Birdie this happy!! It’s only been 72 hours since we left, and Birdie is already wrestling, flying around the house and finding so much joy in her new life🥹 She’s not sitting around devastated without us… she’s too busy having FUN! We wanted a life where Birdie plays so hard she crashes at night, exhausted from having the best day every day, and wakes up every morning excited to do it all over again🥲 I’m so proud we stopped when we saw her on the side of the road. That we said yes when everything about her situation seemed impossible. That we never gave up, even when things got really hard. And when it came time to choose her forever home, we listened to our hearts, trusted everything we’d learned about Birdie and chose the life we believed she would love most🕊️
