I told my mum I’d help her declutter the whole kitchen. Anything I wanted, I’d say needed upgrading, or I pointed out they had multiple. Then I’d do the ‘it would be a shame to just throw these out though, I could take them off your hands and give them to charity’. I was the charity. She figured it out of course but we keep the ruse up.

i didn't even need to do it myself, my boyfriend's grandpa came with a set of 2 for each 😭 i offered them back when i got my own but he refused so now they are my boyfriend's fav cutlery
