@cbsnews: Rep. Adriano Espaillat (D-NY) is demanding answers from ICE after an agent shot 28-year-Oscar Belgal in the neck during an enforcement operation in the Bronx, firing seven rounds, according to New York City police. The man’s 5-year-old son was in the car but was not physically injured. DHS says officers were conducting a targeted operation to arrest Belgal, a Dominican national it says is in the U.S. illegally, and that he rammed ICE vehicles as officers tried to box in his car. Espaillat said he was denied access to the man at the hospital and that the family was also prevented from visiting him. Espaillat is calling for greater accountability from ICE, including mandatory body cameras and the immediate release of footage. #ice #ny #newyork #bronx #immigration
