Let me start by saying I don’t want to fight with anyone so don’t. How else do we convince masses of people that you need for an economic revolution without having some examples of socialism in practice? Don’t we need politicians who show it can work and they only way they can do that is to work within the framework of the existing system. That person will have to make concessions to the system right? Not every battle can be won and revolution isn’t quick. It will build and build until a tipping point is achieved. The way I see it in the last decade socialism has went from a joke in this country to a growing movement winning actual positions in the government in the last 10 years or so. It’s never going to be overnight and it’s been faster than I thought already.

The constitution states that we are entitled to Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness. Everyone gets caught up on pursuit of happiness, but what about the first two? If I have to pay to be alive, am I really entitled to life? If I have to spend my whole life working until I’m 67, do I have liberty? We need to get people to reexamine the meaning of life and liberty, and demand what we are entitled to.
