I had an insane amount of anxiety around pooping in public. I didn’t start having normal bowel movements until I started getting comfortable with talking about it and joking about it. I am free of the shackles of public poop anxiety.

IBS: I be shittin! I bought individual wipes and have a mini spray for when I'm in the office, it's never comfortable but I gotta go and I'm no longer avoiding the poops at work.

I’ve never felt embarrassed about pooping, but I DO still feel embarrassed about farting sometimes. Sometimes when I take a fiber supplement or a prebiotic drink they will give me the BIGGEST farts.

When I got my analrectal manometry they asked ‘have you been holding your poop your whole life’ No I haven’t, I have bowel endometriosis, but I know a lot of people who didn’t go in school as kids. Now they don’t go at work. If there’s time I’m going at work.

I grew up with lots of anxiety about pooping in public and I’m also a multiple times a day pooper now as an adult so I bring some wipes (controversial, I know) and a travel size poopouri in most of my purses and it’s made such a difference in my comfort w pooping in public. The only thing missing is my poop stool to lift my legs

I’m lucky in that I can choose when my lunch break is, so I either eat early or late so that I don’t have to go to the bathroom at rush hour (12:30 at my office, apparently).
