don't you dare have a friend to do work on your car i.e. install a new battery, brake or things of that nature and don't you dare not pay them where they are forced to file a mechanic lein on the title for the amount owed and they get a new title and now the car is theirs.

MOST cars now have a GPS Tracker. Which means the loan people and the repo people know exactly where the car is at all times. A lady I know had her car repossessed when she went inside the gas station to pee & buy gas. Just that fast. They have their ways.

My previous car, they put a GPS on it when we got it. Said they’d take it off when it was paid off. We lost our income and it was about to be repossessed. We just parked it in the drive way either our other car behind it 🤷♀️they can’t move another car to get to it lol

as long as your car don't got a tracker on it you don't got to worry about hiding it just don't keep it at the last known address of your car loan or the owner I kept mine locked in the garage and they tried to repo it twice and then they never came back and then Capital One mailed me my title

ya....dont do that. because when you file for an abandonment title, they search for any leins or other debts owed and give THOSE people a chance to claim it before just issuing a free title

Its not free the vin cannot be registered until all leans are paid. The dealer makes double cash because they get insurance right off and no one can register the vehicle in any data base without the dealer lean on the vin is satisfied

the finance company may still repossess the vehicle for default on the car loan, even while the car is at the repair shop. The mechanic's unpaid bill is a separate issue, and the priority and enforcement of the competing claims can depend on the circumstances. The mechanic does not automatically get to keep the car just because you couldn't afford the repair bill.

Ok, you keep the car but that doesnt wipe the debt. You'd have to file bankruptcy or live with debt tanking your credit and the threat of garnishment. Right?
