PEAK WEEK IS HERE! Here’s some snippets from the routine I’ll be doing next Saturday. I think we are now to a standard where I’m not going to look a tit on stage so I’m happy 😂 What a learning experience this has been. 1. Being completely honest I think I put the idea of a show off before because I genuinely didn’t know if I had the back wheels and mental fortitude to get lean enough for it but this has been achieved now. Proud of the shift I’ve put in over the past 15 weeks tbh. 2. I didn’t expect prep to teach me what I thought I’d miss and what I actually miss in life being so restrictive. All the snacks, beers and easy to go meal swaps and fast food I really don’t miss. Social occasions and eating out with friends and family I have really missed. Milk in coffee I have missed 😂 3. This has 100% made me a better “athlete/bodybuilder” whatever you’d like to put the label on it as. So many good habits I’ve had to pick up to manage hunger and energy levels that I will carry on doing post show. Slowing down the time you take to eat your food, actually putting in effort cooking and prepping food. You have to create pretty creative on low calories to make your food tastes 👌🏽 Spacing out your meal timings so you aren’t fucking starving by 7pm. Now for the fun part and to actually give the stage a bash. Let’s get it!
