and the reason for that is the owners agreed to allow the dodgers to keep all of their local tv revenues and not share it with the rest of the teams like every other team has to. that’s the only reason owners are asking for a salary cap. it’s their own fault and now they want the players to pay for it

Who cares how much money they make? Player’s salaries don’t dictate success. The Rays have the lowest payroll too. So do the White Sox and Guardians. 4 of the last 5 teams standing. Where are the Mets Cubs Padres Phillies Yankees? They’re all home. The high payrolls don’t guarantee shit.

He’s saying the Dodgers pitching staff is better than the Brewers and his supporting data is their salary?

Look … The reason the Brewers won 103 games is because NL Central is weaker than NL West .

That is the Brewers problem. Tell the Brewers to start spending money on players. Don’t hate the Dodgers for spending money on players. GO DODGERS!! THREE PEAT!!👊🏼👊🏼

Okay but if someone else signed Kyle Tucker this year the dodgers wouldn’t even have as high a payroll as the Mets. Do you think their rotation is better than the brewers?

Nobody wanted Snell, traded for Glasgow, traded for Skubal and Yamamoto was offered same amount from other teams but chose the Dodgers. Let’s now pretend they just out spent everyone for the rotation

When the Yankees won 5 world series from 1996-2009 they were the highest payroll every year except one time there were number 2. Why didn't baseball do something then and why wasn't everybody else crying like they are now.

Hey Dave…. Brewers had a better chance than the Dodgers to land TS, and they balked on giving up prospects, not even their prospects

Lockout happening soon. Dodgers win 3rd championship and salary cap begins. This is going to be the series that changes everything

I’m confused. Yes, the Dodgers are number 1 in payroll, but teams 2-18 are at home watching. The Guardians, White Sox are bottom five.

A salary cap is gonna cause more work stoppages. If theres a cap, major market teams are gonna keep huge amounts of revenue. Players wont be happy and other owners will be jealous. Dodgers spend 47-61% on player salary compared to the Brewers spend 32-35%. How do you fix that with a salary cap?
