I can’t get enough of this song. It feels like a Sunday drive in the fall with my dad. He’s smoking a cigarette, the car is chilly, the music is loud. We vibing. I’m 42 and my dad died a few years ago. He was a hard man but his music taste showed me how soft he really was one layer deep. I know that’s a weird thing to say bc this is not a dad and daughter song. But more of a daughter watching a dad process loss quietly through music and a pall mall.
