@meerkplu5a5: I love how world tour handled racism and colonialism #trolls #trollsworldtour #racism #movie #fyp

Racism and colonialism.

Ako :

i was too young to understand🫩

youhouh :

And it's really paradoxical that rock represents the bad guys because it should be precisely the rock that should represent freedom and open-mindedness

Isn’t it about different cultures and race

enva_iya9 :

Рок музыка как немцы типо

𝖜𝖆𝖍𝖊𝖊𝖉• :

poppy once said: in a world where everyone looks the same sounds the same that's not harmony

kerosene🇧🇷 :

For those who don’t know it’s about racism and colonization, but I also interpreted it as how the same idea can be achieved through violence and peace (both Poppy and Barb wanting to unite the trolls), and how colonizers re-write their own history to paint themselves as saviors when they caused the injustice in the first place (Poppy not knowing the Pop Trolls were racist and causes all trolls to segregate, aka “White Savior Industrial Process” coined by Teju Cole)

.annu.bea :

The fact that some people can’t see what it’s actually about is disappointing

<3 :

I don’t think people understand that they weren’t trying to make the rock trolls ppl like the bad guys. Poppy and Barb had the same ideas and goals, Barb was just going about it the wrong way and Poppy wasn’t thinking open minded. They both just wanted everyone to be equal and be in harmony again.
