@prestonstew: Iran ramps up strikes in Hormuz

Debilov 🇨🇦 🇺🇦 :

They want to jack up oil prices before the midterms

uka uka :

Even with oil flow increased to prewar level, the insurance cost will still increase the oil price.

JRHER550 :

they don't want the smoke with Iran the world sees they can't handle a country that fights back 😂😂😂😂

edrees.hh23 :

Iran 🇮🇷 is fighting an existential threat

Syed Murtazaރ :

its not some they actually controls oil flow trump only yapps no action

matador925 :

Yeye1kanobi :

The reason the oil was passing, was simply Iran was being paid now the US stoped the transaction.

Cyrus Kabazan :

Pre war level[Facepalm][Facepalm][Facepalm][Facepalm][Facepalm]

jdiroejtnskoa :

Even if iran has completely lost control of the straight like trump claims, the costs are so high for ships going through that oil is still at 105~$/barrel, so the effects are still the same

gabeglebus :

if only we had a plan to make sure this never happened

Ove 1 can Ove :

And 11 the week before. Oil movement is still not even close to before the Iran war.

Thepiratebay.org :

I thought we won.

GrilledChize :

I highly doubt oil returned to pre-war levels given the damage to oil infrastructure, the 100+ oil tankers hit this year and the 125ish ones blocked by US embargo.

Naif :
