@wealthywithkayla: There came a point where I had to ask myself a really uncomfortable question: How much of my life was I willing to keep trading for a paycheck? I spent years working more, taking on more responsibility, giving up weekends, holidays, time with my family, and pieces of myself I thought I’d get back later. And the hardest part is knowing now that some of that time was time I could never get back. Meanwhile, the paycheck still didn’t create the kind of breathing room I thought all that hard work eventually would. Everything got more expensive. The mental load got heavier. And “just work more” started feeling like a really crappy answer. I don’t regret wanting a successful life. I regret believing for so long that the only way to build one was to keep giving more and more of my life away for it. That’s a big part of why I started building income outside of my paycheck. If you’re a working woman starting to question how much of your life your paycheck should cost you, follow along. I talk about creating more income and more options without making another shift or another job the only answer.
