People aren’t used to fair skin on the level of fair that you are so think it works the same as warm light skin when it doesn’t at all. I’ve got very similar colouring to you and figuring it out really can be difficult.

I always feel like when someone is as pale as this, what happens when the sun hits the person's face is more so pink rather than orange, so i think that if the goal of bronzer is to bring warmth and life to the face maybe this can be achieved with a pink ... 👀

As a pale girl myself I only buy bronzers that are more like a darker brownish red, it looks more like when we're a little bit tanned naturally. Orange just doesn't look good on fair skin.
